Wedding Photographer In Norfolk

Hello, my name is James, I’m an easy going, professional documentary wedding photographer in Norfolk, based in the historic town of King’s Lynn. I’m a wedding photographer that enjoys all aspects of photography, but photographing people is where my real passion lies. As you look through my work you’ll notice that my style is a little different to that of a traditional wedding photographer. For me it’s all about being ‘creative’ and capturing the ‘real moments’ that show ‘unique character’, ‘personality’ and emotion. I’m definitely not a fan of cheesy posed photos, but I really do enjoy creating the most ‘natural’ and ‘authentic’ photographs possible, and weddings typically provide the perfect opportunity for me to do just that. So if you’re a venturesome couple planning a laid back wedding, looking for an ‘amazing photographer’ to document your special day in a unique way, why not sit back with a cup of your favourite brew and take a good look around my website to get a better idea of the way that I work. I’m available as a documentary wedding photographer in Norfolk and throughout most parts of the UK. I’m also happy to travel further afield upon request.

Documentary Wedding Photographer

‘How do I describe my style?’

I’m a ‘documentary style wedding photographer’, also known as reportage or photo-journalistic style. I personally like to call myself a storyteller or a storytelling wedding photographer’ because for me it’s all about crafting a ‘wedding day novel’ from a beautifully captured set of images.

I have been photographing weddings as a storyteller for quite a few years now and I’ve learnt how to really ‘blend in with the guests’. I tend to ‘discreetly’ follow the lead of the bride and groom throughout the day capturing the special moments as they interact with their family and friends, but most importantly I’m ‘super relaxed’, I don’t take charge and I never cause any disturbances to the order of the day.

Please feel free to head over to my weddings page for more information.

Get In Touch

If you’re ‘impressed with what you’ve seen so far’ and you’re keen to find out more, why not get in touch to ‘check my availability’ and set your wedding photography plans in motion? Once we have made initial contact the next step would be a consultation, usually over coffee where we can get to know more about each other, browse some of my portfolios together and discuss your wedding plans in further detail. I also offer a pre-wedding photo shoot which is free to anyone that hires me to photograph a full day wedding. This gives you the chance to see me in action and allows you to take home some stunning engagement photos.

Are you ‘planning a wedding in Norfolk’, East Anglia, the UK or somewhere a little more exotic? Are you seeking a creative documentary wedding photographer in Norfolk? If so, please don’t hesitate to contact me because I’d be more than happy to have a chat and discuss your ideas. Please keep in mind that wedding season peaks from May through to September therefore dates do tend to get booked up fairly quickly with a lot of couples booking up more than a year in advance.
